My boxer is almost a year!!..april 18th...she got her first heat a week ago if that makes a difference?!? Does anyone know when she needs her next shots? Id like to take her in soon for a check up I hear they are expensive so id like to get it all done at once.

Hello, Shots are often recommended yearly by vets - I would do your research - theres an article called "The Vaccination Conundrum" that I HIGHLY recommend before planning your shot schedule.

I also seperate my shots...rabies and distemper a few days apart, I personally have had dogs have seizure like reactions from the vaccinations!

Your vet probably uses cheap vaccines and it probably was from the distemper which more than likely contained lepto, and if your dog was a puppy at the time, or is a small breed, lepto is a BAD idea. Do your research, kiddos.

We do not allow Lepto vaccines in any dogs until 18 months of age if ever. I personally do not give Lepto at any time.
